Above is a Moorcraft Figurine SEO modified ad, this is the buyers original Moorcraft Figurine ad: Why we changed this Moorcraft Figurine ad. I'm looking for a Moorcraft Tinker stoneware dog figurine from England that was mass-produced in the early nineteen seventies. The dog's name may be "Alfie". He looks a bit like a long-haired Chihuahua or Pomeranian; although he may represent no specific breed, but rather just a small long-haired dog. He is about 3 to 5" high in a sitting position. He is tan, with (I think) a white chest and white toes, dark eyes and erect pointed ears. In his original form, he would have had a green felt base, to protect surfaces from scratches, and a sticker that said "Hand Made Tinker Ware", with the figurine's name (again, possibly "Alfie"). I believe he came in several different versions, one of which had the dog sitting, with his paw on a red ball. I'm hoping to replace this Moorcraft figurine dog. He was purchased for me at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C., England in the summer of either 1971, -72 or -73. He had great sentimental value to me. He was destroyed several years ago and I'm just getting around to replacing him. If you have for sale a Moorcraft figurine from England that fits my description, even somewhat, please contact me.
