Salt and Pepper Shakers Wanted

I buy all types of novelty salt & pepper shakers - one set to huge collections. I also buy some condiment sets. Price I pay depends on condition. Some of the themes I'm looking for include: Advertising, Animals, Black Americana, Comic Characters, Fruits & Vegetables (w/ faces), Goebel, Huggies, Made in Germany (marked), Messer, Miniatures, Noddlers, People, Plastic Gas Pumps (No Esso), Poinsetta Studios, Rosemeade, Shawnee, & Storybook sets. I don't want any reproductions or sets made of wood. Collectible Buyer #600, Pennsylvania.

Salt and Pepper Shaker Collectible Tips:

If you find an antique glass shaker (circa 1871) with a rough or jagged top above the threaded neck, this is called the "bust off" and not a flaw. Some people grind this down, but this jagged area is a normal part of the manufacturing process created when the shaker was taken out of the molds.

Tip 2: There are many reproduction salt and pepper shakers, the jadeite (creamy lime green color) salt and pepper shakers by Jeannette is one example. The reproductions have a wide gap between the neck and body. Original Jeannette salt and pepper shakers have virtually no neck between threads and the body.
