A. While it would be ideal if serious collectors / buyers posted their own ad on our site, we know in a real world a buyer can only do so much advertising. Since 1993 Mister Find IT (as a picker) has been finding things collectors / buyers wanted. Now, with thousands of buyers and collectors on our private list, it's sometimes difficult to decide what buyers or what categories to add to the web site. Sometimes we post ads because we ourselves have that item in our line up of items we will soon be selling. Other times, our viewers tell us they have such and such to sell and want to know if we have any buyers. Mister Find IT uses these requests from our viewers to help decide which categories to post. As requests like these come to us, in respect to the privacy of the buyer, we authorize our promotion department to contact the buyers of different collectibles. After the ad is approved by the buyers, the contact information is made available. As a picker, mainly buying from live auctions and reselling, we often have no idea what items we would come across. So a long time ago, Mister Find IT started making a list of who was looking for what. As we developed this list (our private list), we often found serious collectors / buyers for different items. Mister Find IT knew they were serious buyers because they would (not only once) often post ads in different collector publications. Often the cost of placing a 3 line ad in these publications was $40 - $100. Later we found that many of these serious collectible buyers, not only paid fair prices, but they were an expert in that area of collecting. Sometimes they were advisors or writers, and often had shops or museums of the item they collected. It is the goal of Mister Find IT to bring an online directory of trusted collectible buyers to you! We have much invested in the ads we post and this website. Why would we risk our reputation by posting ads or leaving posted ads of buyers that can’t be trusted? It is the the buyers we have posted, that we would sell our items to, if we had what they collected!
